I went to Harbor Town shopping center yesterday, which is around 1km from my place. Unlike Singapore, which usually has multistory mall where each store has its own little space, Harbor Town consist of many single story shops clustered together.

Hellooo~ Harbor Townnn~~~
The first place that we visited was for lunch and my brother brought me to a sushi chain here in australia called sushi train. its a small little store no bigger then half the size of sake sushi stores back at home but this sushi train outlet feel really nice. first of all this store is mend by an all japanese crew and they are all dressed in auth sushi shop uniform. when we stepped into the store,we were greeted warmly by the staff. One more difference is that all the male staff is within the belt that serves the sushi and their job is to make all the sushis and take orders for the sushi. The female staff on the other hand stands outside the belt and serves drinks, count plates and does cashier.
One thing worth mentioning is that the sushis are usually 1.5 times bigger then the ones found in Singapore. And they are not cheap! The green plate, which is the cheapest, cost A$3.50 and the price of others is $4, $4.50, $5, $5.50, $8. I didn't see any $8 sushis on the belt so i guess they are only available when you order them. At the very end, i ate 2 greens, 2 light blue, 2 dark blue and a coke which cost $2. Total of the bill, A$26 for myself alone! Talk about expensive!
Anyway after the meal, we walked around the shops. There were clothing stores, grocery store, some food stores and a cinema. There is quite a large number of sports shop and the Adidas and Nike stores are both factory outlet. Though both of the stores are quite big but i think the range like not as big. Didn't buy anything there-.-
Okie thats the end of my report. Don't think I'll be going anywhere today. It's going to be a boring day.
