3 Day Holiday

Before this post, i had a mega post on the visit to Movie World. Unfortunately, a freak accident cause the entry to be lost. And to rewrite the post is such a chore i have decided to skip that entry and continue on. I might get back to it in the future but for now, I shall log about my 3 day vacation.
Between 17 - 19th, I was away from my apartment to join my cousin's family on their vacation trip. They're here partly to attend my cousin's grad ceremony but at the same time also to have a family holiday. On the thursday morning, My cousin drove an 8 sitter SUV to fetch us. Together with his family, we headed to Surfers Paradise, approximately 8KM away from my place.
It's like the Orchard road of Queensland with branded boutiques and sports cars. There is also this small street where some Asians, mostly Japanese, setting up various stores. We ended up eating raman. I really wanted to take some pictures of the raman because they look sooo good, simple and yet authenticated Japanese style that you can never find in Singapore. However, i was with my cousin's family and it didn't seem appropriate to start snapping away at my meal. Still, its a real pity. The pork raman taste sooo great... just don't know how to describe.. Like you will start dancing with pigs on rainbow. A must try and i will definitely be back for more. And the next time I'm back, I'll be back with photos.
Mango
Hard Rock Cafe
BWS stands for beer wine spirits, a liquor chain
The Billabong very nice hor?
branded!
After the meal, we walked towards the beach. Since it's the Surfers Paradise, it was naturally suitable for surfing. However, it was the first time i went to a beach in winter and also the first time i saw people surfing in real life. It's a really beautiful place. The moon was gorgeous and the sky has a violet pink tint and the sea is a deep blue. The beach is quite small, somewhat like the Sentosa's mini beach. However, the wave is big enough for surfing and the sand is much much cleaner.

Entrance to the beach
Many ppl~

chio bo?
Many seagulls too~Seagull foot all over the beach.
One thing bout this beach is that it is directly opposite the shops. Something like opposite Taka got one beach lidat. And there are many Seagulls in the area, very beautiful animals, walking around the shops and beach area in groups like they are strolling down the beach. Over at the beach, we played frisbee. So i took out my shoes.. and the sand is so icy cold. Like u put you feet in ice water, they will hurt after awhile if you don't move them. Anyway playing frisbee is really fun, just passing and passing.. but fun. haha really got time must try.

And we played until the sky was all dark. The night scene on the beach, its amazing. I've tried to capture it on the camera but i was too dark. Basically, the big bright moon was just above the sea and it shone above the sea like as if it was casting a path on the waters. Looks like those beautiful glow-in-the-dark jigsaw puzzles.

Soon it was too cold to stay any long.. We left for dinner in come chinese restaurant. Nothing great except the price tag. Having chinese food here in Australia is definitely not worth the money as compared to back home.
Anyway after that we headed for home and that concluded day 1.
